Franz Rudolf Frisching

Franz Rudolf Frisching (* 1733 in Bern, † 1807 in Hofstetten ) was a Bernese officer, magistrate and industrialist from the patrician family Frisching.

Life

Franz Rudolf Frisching, son of Vincent Frisching (1689-1764), Lord Schlosswil, was Colonel of the Swiss Guards in Holland. From 1764 he was a member of the Bernese cantonal parliament. In 1770 he was bailiff in the Maggia Valley, 1780 Provost St. Johannsen and 1793 Kastlan in Brodhüsi. Frisching was Lieutenant Colonel of the Rifle Corps of Bern.

Frisching was co-founder and principal owner of the faience factory Frisching in Lorraine in Bern.

Between 1753 and 1754 married Franz Rudolf Frisching Anne Madeleine van baking ( born about 1738) from Holland. This marriage was descended from the son of Johann Rudolf and the daughter (Anna Adrienne ) Margaret ( 1755-1800 ). Anne Madeleine Frisching died on August 4, 1763 in childbirth in the Église royale et Collegiate Church Saint- Hippolyte de Poligny. The funeral was held in the church of Les Verrières on August 8, 1763. His second wife Franz Rudolf Frisching was 1764 with Armanda Gross ( 1743-1829 ) married ( the marriage was later divorced ). This second marriage came from the daughter of Julia Armanda ( 1768-1807 ). From 1750 to 1777 the Frisching the Lorraine family - owned estate in Bern. Franz Rudolf Frisching had to pay after the French invasion in 1798 no war contribution.
