Franz Wembacher

Franz Wembacher (* November 15, 1958 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German luger.

It formed in the eighties together with Hans Stanggassinger an internationally very successful pair in the doubles. Her biggest success was the Olympic gold medal at the Games in Sarajevo in 1984.

He was also in the years 1981, 1983 and 1984 German Champion in Doubles.
