Frascarolo
Frascarolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1199 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 40 km west-southwest of Pavia in Lomellina and borders on the province of Alessandria (Piedmont).
History
1164 the village had been mentioned; In 1250 as Frascarolum. At the same time the Abbey of Acqualunga (as Aqualungha ) is mentioned. 1818 both communities were pooled.
