Frascineto
Frascineto is an Italian town in the province of Cosenza in Calabria with 2208 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Frascineto is located about 71 km north of Cosenza on the southern side of the Pollino. The neighboring municipalities are Cassano allo Ionio, Castrovillari and Civita.
The community is located just off the motorway A3 / E 45 Turn off at the Castrovillari - Frascineto.
Attractions
The parish church was built in the Baroque style. In the village Forestu di S. Petro is the Basilian church of S. Pietro. The church was restored in the 16th century.
