Fraternal correction

Fraternal correction is in the Catholic Church, the Latin term for the duty of fraternal correction, to make fellow Christians trespasses and sin attention. The term is probably due to the Rule of St.. Benedict of Nursia back.

As a non- religious counterpart can be considered a constructive criticism, taking the aspect of fraternity is also important in fraternal correction.

The Catholic Catechism for Adults adheres to the gradual gradation of fraternal correction, as it is mapped out biblical ( cf. Mt 18:15-17 EU):
