Fraternity of Saint Vincent Ferrer

The Fraternité Saint Vincent Ferrier is a altritualistische Catholic religious order ("old Dominican " ) in France.

The community that does not belong to the Dominican Order, was founded in 1979 by Louis -Marie de Blignieres and was initially the sedevacantism close. In 1998 and again in 2004, Father Louis -Marie de Blignieres was elected by the General Chapter to the Prior of the Institute.

The Fraternity is located in the monastery of Saint-Thomas - d'Aquin in Chémeré -le- Roi ( Mayenne ) and presently has about 15 members, including seven priests. It publishes the quarterly theological journal " Seat of Wisdom ". Priest candidates of the Community study theology at the Université Catholique de l' Ouest d' Angers, and philosophy at the Sorbonne.
