Fratta Todina

Fratta Todina is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1817 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Perugia in Umbria.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 30 kilometers south of Perugia and belongs to the Comunità montana Orvietano Narnese Amerino Tuderte. It is immediately adjacent to the province of Terni. The Tiber forms the eastern boundary of the municipality.

The only district is Stazione (156 meters altitude, about 130 inhabitants)

The neighboring communities are Collazzone, Marsciano, Monte Castello di Vibio, San Venanzo (TR) and Todi.

Traffic

The train station of Fratta Todina ( Fratta Todina Monte Castello di Vibio ) is located on the railway line from Perugia to Sansepolcro about Terni. Passing through the municipality, the former State Road 397 di Monte Molino (now a provincial road ) of Marsciano to Todi.
