Fred Åkerström

Fred Åkerström ( born January 27, 1937 Bo Gunnar Åkerström; † 9 August 1985) was a Swedish singer and songwriter.

Fred Åkerström was with his inward and a little rusty baritone voice since the mid- 1960s, one of the leading singers in Sweden. Above all, he was known for interpretations of songs Carl Michael Bellman, his interpretations contributed to the popularity Ruben Nilson at.

Åkerströms most famous song, however, is likely Jag ger dig min morgon, a Swedish translation by Tom Paxton I Give You the Morning.
