Fred Apostoli

Fred Apostoli ( born February 2, 1913 in San Francisco, † November 29, 1973 in San Francisco) was an American middleweight boxer who was world champion of the International Boxing Union by his victory against Marcel Thil on September 23, 1937.

Apostoli was in 1934, a professional boxer and defeated during his career fighters like Babe Marino, Babe Risko, Solly Kirger and Lou Brouillard, until he with 61 wins, ten losses and a draw ended his career in 1948 and 2003, posthumously inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame has been selected.
