Fred Hammond

Fred Hammond ( born 1961 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American gospel and Christian music singer.

With 12 years Hammond sang in the church choir and in the early 1980s, he was a singer and bassist member of the Winans. He then joined Commissioned, where he not only vocally, but also as a producer and songwriter made ​​his name. Therefore, he launched a successful solo career in 1991. His albums regularly achieve top rankings in the gospel and Contemporary Christian charts.
