Fred Mandel

Fred Mandel ( * in Canada ) is a keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter. He worked with Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Cheap Trick, Queen, Supertramp and Elton John.

Mandel was a member of Alice Cooper's band, for which he only played the keyboard and later lead guitar. He also participated in the songwriting, for example, when produced by Roy Thomas Baker album Flush the Fashion.

In the late seventies year he took on keyboards for Pink Floyd album The Wall.

1982 Fred Mandel began collaboration with Queen, whom he accompanied on the second section of " Hot Space " world tour as a keyboardist. In common live sessions with Brian May and Eddie Van Halen 1983, he began in Los Angeles, the mini - album Star Fleet Project ( Brian May Friends ) on. In the same year he participated in the recordings of the Queen song Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Break Free, Man on the Prowl and Hammer to Fall from the 1984 released album The Works. Not only synths and piano but also the guitar he played for Freddie Mercury in Munich's Musicland Studios recorded first solo album Mr. Bad Guy one, which was published in 1985.

In the eighties, Almond went on tour with Supertramp. Later he played on numerous albums by Elton John.
