Fred Watson

Fred G. Watson ( born December 14, 1944 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England) is an Australian astronomer.

He works at the Anglo - Australian Observatory ( AAO ) at Siding Spring Observatory. During this activity the equipped with a doctorate Watson has the comet C/1999 S2 discovered ( McNaught - Watson).

In 2003 he received the David Allen Prize of the Australian Astronomical Union.
