Freddie Smith

Freddie Matthew Smith ( born March 19, 1988 in Ashtabula, Ohio ) is an American actor.

Life and career

Smith was born in March 1988 in Ashtabula, Ohio and grew up as an only child to his parents. In 2006 he graduated Edgewood Senior High in Ashtabula. He began his career with a cameo appearance in the TV series Medium - Nothing is hidden. Then he turned his short film Weak Species and was seen as Sara's boyfriend in the film One Wish.

In December 2010, Smith would take the role of the gay football player Marco Salazar in The CW television series 90210th Overall, he was there in five episodes of the third season, before the station announced that Smith will not be returning for the fourth season. After leaving 90210, he was cast in the role of Jackson " Sonny " Kiriakis on the soap Days of Our Lives, in which he is seen since 23 June 2011.
