Freddie Starr

Freddie Starr ( born January 9, 1943 in Huyton near Liverpool as Frederick Leslie Fowell ) is an English comedian who became famous in the 1970s to a broad public. He was also a voice impersonator and pop singer who reüssierte with the music album After the Laughter and in March 1974 under the UK Top 10 with his single It's You.

Career

Starr was well known in England as a TV star; its worldwide popularity rose significantly more than the tabloid The Sun, despite denials Starrs (but with the consent of his PR adviser) 1986 headline texted: Freddie Starr ate my hamster ( ' Freddie Starr ate my hamster ").
