Frederick Busch
Frederick Busch ( born August 1, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York City; † 23 February 2006 in Manhattan, New York City ) was an American writer.
Life
Frederick Busch studied at Muhlenberg College ( 1962) in Pennsylvania and then at Colgate University ( 1967). Busch taught from 1976 to 2003 as " Fairchild Professor of Literature " at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. He was the initiator of the " Writers 'Workshop " at the University of Iowa and founder of the " Chenango Valley Writers' Conference "
He was awarded numerous prizes. In all, he wrote 27 books; another should be released in autumn 2006.
Frederick Busch died of a heart attack during a stay in Manhattan. Busch was married and the father of two sons.
