Frederik Wiedmann

Frederik Wiedmann (* 1981 in Stuttgart ) is a German composer.

Biography

Frederik Wiedmann is the son of a surgeon and a high school teacher. His sister is the singer-songwriter Katrin Wiedmann. At the age of six he learned the violin and at age 14 the jazz guitar. After graduation he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he studied at the Berklee College of Music. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005, debuted in 2006 with the Wiedmann, directed by Corbin Timbrook horror film Blood Ranch as a film composer for a feature film.
