Frederikshavn Municipality
Frederikshavn Kommune is a municipality in the north of Jutland, Danish and belongs to Region Nordjylland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Frederikshavn municipality with the existing communities and Skagen Sæby. On a an area of 650.20 km ² there (as of 1 January 2013) live 60 775 inhabitants.
The administrative headquarters is located in Frederikshavn. Mayor is Erik Sørensen ( Socialdemokraterne ).
