Fredrik Kessiakoff

Fredrik Carl Wilhelm Kessiakoff (born 17 May 1980) is a Swedish cyclist.

Fredrik Kessiakoff began his career in 2000 at the road cycling team Crescent, for which he ran for three years. In the 2005 season he was on the third section of stage second in the Ringerike Grand Prix. At the Giro del Lago Maggiore he managed in 2006 to second place behind the winner Giairo Ermeti. In the Mountain Bike World Championships in 2006 in New Zealand Rotorua Kessiakoff won the bronze medal in the cross country race. End of the season he drove for the British Professional Continental team Barloworld as a stagiaire.

In the Tour of Austria in 2011, he won the second leg of the prestigious mountain top finish at the Kitzbühel Horn and celebrated by his first individual success as a racing pro. The boss fought here he could until the end of the round trip to defend and thus reach the first tour victory.

The two victories in the individual time trial of the Tour de Suisse in 2012 and the Vuelta a España in the same year were Premiere success in the UCI World Tour and in a Grand Tour.
