Fredrik Sixten
Fredrik Sixten ( born October 21, 1962 in Skövde ) is a Swedish composer.
Sixten he received his Bachelor of Arts at the Royal College of Music Stockholm, where he studied from 1982 to 1993. He studied composition with Professor Sven- David Sandström there. From 1997 to 2001 he was conductor of the boys choir from Gothenburg. Since 2001 he has been organist at the cathedral in Härnösands Härnösand. Fredrik has a lot of choral music and composed three oratorios for choir and orchestra. He is considered one of the most performed composers of contemporary music.
