Fredrik Warg

Fredrik Warg ( May 3, 1979 in cars ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since December 2013 at Brynäs IF in the Svenska Hockey ligands under contract. His cousin Jonathan Hedstrom is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Fredrik Warg began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the Boliden FFI, for the seniors team, he made his debut in the then third-tier Division 2 in the 1994/95 season. He then moved to the youth department of MODO Hockey, for the first team winger 1999-2005 was active in the Elitserien. In the seasons 1999/2000 and 2001/ 02 he was with his team each runner. Parallel to the game Operation with MODO Hockey, he came between 1999 and 2002 for the IF Sundsvall Hockey and IF Björklöven in HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division, are used. From 2005 to 2007 he played for the Timrå IK, before he returned for two further years MODO Hockey. From 2009 to 2011, he ran for the Skellefteå AIK, he also led as captain in the 2010/11 season for runners.

For the 2011/12 season Warg was obliged Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League. A year later he returned to Sweden and was awarded a contract with newly promoted Rögle BK.

Internationally

For Sweden Warg took part in the world championships in 2007 and 2008.
