Freedom Air (New Zealand)

Freedom Air was a low-cost airline Air New Zealand Group, based in Auckland, New Zealand.

It was founded in 1995 and operated alongside New Zealand nor Australia and the Fiji Islands. The aircraft belonged to the Air New Zealand subsidiary Zeal 320 and were operated by this also.

Its main base was the Hamilton airport. More scheduled flights there from Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. The objectives were to Nadi ( Fiji), Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The operation was set on 31 March 2008 and taken on the flights of the parent company Air New Zealand.
