Freedom Front Plus

The Vryheidsfront Plus (Freedom Front Plus, English name: Freedom Front Plus) is a decidedly conservative South African Party, whose aim is to represent the interests of the Boers. It supports the creation of a People's State. The current chairman is Pieter Mulder.

Originally founded as Vryheidsfront, the party received at the South African elections of 1994 under the leadership of General Viljoen constand 2.2 percent of all votes, but in 1999 fell 0.8 percent on its earnings. 2003, shortly before the 2004 election, the Conservative Party decided that Africans Eenheidsbeweging and the Freedom Front, together with the name Vryheidsfront Plus (VF ) to stand for election. Since 2004 the party has four seats in the South African Parliament. Pieter Mulder is Vice Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in the government of Jacob Zuma.

The Vryheidsfront Plus is also the official representative of the Afrikaners at the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization.
