Freedom. A plea is a book of the incumbent President Joachim Gauck, which was published after his nomination on February 20, 2012, the day. In the book, consisting of 64 pages Gauck describes his thoughts on the topics of freedom, democracy, human rights and tolerance. The book calls for, to defend freedom and human rights around the world, especially in " communist, fanatical Islamist or arbitrary states " In addition, he defends the market economy.
