French ship Redoutable
Redoutable (French: scary ) is the name of a series of warships of the French Navy:
- Redoutable ( 1706): prototype of a new class of ship
- Redoutable (1740 ): privateer ship
- Redoutable ( 1749): Line 74 gun ship. Took upon landing in Mahon under Admiral la Galissonière part, was destroyed in 1759 in Lagos.
- Redoutable (1791 ), line 74 gun ship. Fought against Admiral Nelson's HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
- Redoutable (1800): Aviso, was applied by the HMS Success.
- Redoutable (1801 ): Coast Guard vessel
- Redoutable (1804 ): a xebec
- Redoutable (1853 ): steam and sail ship
- Redoutable (1876 ): first French warship with a hull made of steel.
- Redoutable (1931 ): Redoutable (Q 136 ) was a submarine and ship type of Redoutable class in World War II.
- Le Redoutable (S 611 ): First French nuclear submarine. Today, the largest publicly available U- boat in a museum.
