Frenelle-la-Petite
Frenelle -la -Petite is a commune in the Vosges department in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Neufchâteau, the Canton of Mirecourt and was founded in 1998 Kommunalverband Xaintois.
Geography
The 53 inhabitants (1 January 2011 ) scoring community Frenelle -la -Petite in Xaintois located in the north of the department of Vosges, on the border with the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle, nine kilometers northwest of the town of Mirecourt. The hilly ground relief to Frenelle -la -Petite belongs to the catchment area of Madon.
Neighboring communities of Frenelle -la -Petite are Fraisnes -en- Santois in the north, Frenelle -la -Grande in the east, in the southeast Puzieux, Juvaincourt in the south, southwest, and Blémerey Oëlleville in the northwest.
History
The first mention gained Frenelle -la -Petite in the year 1044. The village belonged to the Bailiwick of Mirecourt.
The school was built in 1881, a year later the town hall followed ( Mairie ).
