Frenkie

Frenkie, civil Adnan Hamidovic ( born May 31, 1982 in Bijeljina, Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian rapper.

Life

When the Bosnian war in 1992 began Frenkie fled with his family to Nuremberg. He lived there until 1998 and then returned to Tuzla.

In Germany he first heard hip-hop and began to deal with graffiti. He has also started to write lyrics, then still in German.

The first Bosnian hip-hop show " Fmjam " Frenkie met his first crew members. There he met Edin Osmic, known as Edo Maajka, Dj Soul, Hamza, Mire, Erol and coma know. With Edo Maajka he went on tour throughout the former Yugoslavia. You could also listen to Edo Maajkas albums as a duo him.

2004 Frenkie began his first solo album with the help of Edo Maajka take. In 2005 came " odlican CD" on the market.

The next record came out under the name Dosta. Dosta called in German "Enough! ". This is also the name of a youth movement that is active in Bosnia, one of which Frenkie. The aim of the CD as well as the movement is to fight for human rights, against the nationalist parties and for a better and secure future in Bosnia.

Others

International Frenkie became known through a song in the movie The Incredible Hulk from 2008 and through performances with the American rapper Masta Ace.

He is a supporter of Dosta movement and the bra Fanaticos ( Fangruppe the Bosnian - Herzegovinian national football team ).
