Fria

Fria is the main town of Fria Prefecture in Boké region in Guinea. The city is the center of the Guinean bauxite and alumina industry ( Friguia ). The city is grouped around the alumina factory. Fria is connected to Conakry on a 1000 mm rail line, however, is intended solely for the transport of goods. In the south of the town there is a small airport.
