Frid Ingulstad

Frid Ingulstad ( born September 4, 1935 in Oslo) is a Norwegian writer. With over four million books sold, it is the most successful author of their country.

Life

She grew up in North beach in Oslo, where she still lives today. She was trained as a flight attendant and practiced this profession. Later she worked as Schiffstelegrafistin to sea.

Author

Ingulstad has written more than 175 books. She writes historical, psychological, tension and romance novels and non-fiction. The first book in the series Ingebjørg Olavsdatter ( five books a year ) is now available in German and is called in German destiny Moon, laid in publishing projects. The children's book Elgar the moose (2000) is so far the only published in German children's book. It is regarded as opinion -maker in Norway. From their organized walks readers have up to 1,000 participants.

Your novel series Sønnavind is currently Norway's most successful series. Approximately 55,000 copies are sold each book. The series is also published in Poland.
