Historical inaccuracies

The contest against Marchand was denied the truth of Johann Sebastian Bach and not by his son Wilhelm Friedemann. Even Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was older than it is portrayed in the film. Also was Heinrich Graf von Brühl since 1734 to Maria Anna Franziska von Kolowrat Krakowsky ( 1717-1762 ) and not married to Antonia Kolowrat. Friedemann was also first in Dresden ( 1733-46 ) as organist at the church of St. Sophia, and then in Halle ( 1746-64 ) employed as organist at the Marienkirche, and not vice versa. So the Father Bach (d. 1750) no longer experienced the termination of his Son into hall. One year after the death of his father marries Friedemann the Dorothea Elisabeth Georgi and Bandelt thus not having invented by curlew Antonia. As a conclusion it can be said that the film is mainly based on fiction and ( music ) is historically not particularly valuable. Nevertheless, his character traits are well represented.
