Friedericke Buchegger

The Viennese Friederike Buchegger ( partly Friedericke Buchegger ) is an Austrian Righteous Among the Nations. She was instrumental in the rescue of the Czech Jews Posiles Walter and his brothers Hans and Ludwig from deportation to the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

Walter Posiles and the Viennese Edeltrud cup had been displayed due to " racial defilement ". Through their contacts to an official of the Vienna police Friedericke Buchegger was able to obtain the destruction of the incriminating acts. Nevertheless, the brothers had to live underground.
