Friedrich Boerner

Friedrich Boerner also: Börner ( born June 17, 1723 in Leipzig, † June 30, 1761 ) was a German physician.

Life

He was born as the son of Christian Friedrich Boerner and should according to the Father's will begin a theological study. Therefore, he went in 1744 to the University of Wittenberg. However, he later turned to the natural sciences and especially medicine. 1748 he received his doctorate in medicine in Helmstedt, worked as a general practitioner in Wolfenbüttel from 1748 and 1754 Extraordinierter professor at Wittenberg University.
