Friedrich Hendrix

Friedrich Hendrix ( born January 6, 1911 in Aachen, † August 30 1941 in Proletarskaja in Leningrad, Soviet Union ) was a German athlete who at the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles, the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay won (together with Helmut grainy, Erich Borchmeyer and Arthur Jonath / Friedrich Hendrix as the second runner ). He took in these Olympic Games also on the 200-meter individual race part, but different in the intermediate run from ( 21.9 s ).

Friedrich Hendrix married the successful German 100-meter runner Marie Dollinger ( Olympian 1928, 1932, 1936). His daughter Brunhilde Hendrix (1938-1995) was also a successful sprinter and won at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 as her father, the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

Friedrich Hendrix began for Black-Red Aachen. At a size of 1.70 m, it had a competition weight of 63 kg.
