Friedrichstadt (Amt)

The Office Friedrichstadt is a former official in the district of North Friesland. Seat of the official administration was the town of Friedrichstadt.

Location

The Office Frederick city lay along a line which extended south of the North Frisian district town of Husum between the North Sea and Eider. The member communities located west of Frederick city belonged to the historic landscape eiderstedt, the eastern to the Eider- Treene worry Lowland.

The area was almost 100 km ² and the Office has had nearly 6,000 residents in the communities

History

The Office Frederick city was founded during the Schleswig-Holstein district reform in 1970/74. Effective April 26, 1970, the former circles eiderstedt, Südtondern and Husum disbanded and went on in the district of North Friesland. This newly formed circle the work to the district of Schleswig belonging communities Seeth and Drage, and Friedrichstadt were annexed. For these communities and the communities Koldenbüttel, witticism and Uelvesbüll the former district eiderstedt the Office Friedrichstadt was formed.

As part of the reform of administrative structures, the Office Friedrichstadt sparked the end of 31 December 2007, and the municipalities ( the Friedrichstadt ) formed with the communities of offices Hattstedt, North beach and the Office treene North Sea treene.
