Frisco is a settlement on municipal Wi area ( unincorporated community) in Dare County in the east of the U.S. state of North Carolina. Frisco is on Hatteras Island between the towns of Buxton and Hatteras. Formerly called Trent or Trent Woods, the place in 1898 was given the new name Frisco during the allocation of a zip code.
Tourism
Most homes in Frisco are rented to tourists in the summer months. Only in the winter time sedentary inhabitants form the majority.
