Fritz Auer

Fritz Auer (* June 24, 1933 in Tübingen ) is a German architect and professor.

Life

Auer studied at the Technical University of Stuttgart and at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills (Michigan, USA) and graduated in Stuttgart in 1962 as a graduate engineer from. Until 1965 he worked at Günter Behnisch and Bruno Lambart in Stuttgart and in 1966 was co-founder of the architectural firm Behnisch & Partner. 1980, Auer and Carlo Weber broke the partnership and founded their own office (today: " Auer Weber Associates "). From 1985 to 1992 Fritz Auer taught as a professor of Building Construction and Design at the University of Munich from 1993 to 2001 as a professor of design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. Since 1993 he is member of the Academy of Arts. Fritz Auer lives in Stuttgart.
