Fritz Gunst

Fritz " Itze " favor ( born September 22, 1908 in Hannover, † November 9, 1992 ) was a German water polo player.

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928, he was with the German water polo team Olympic champion. Four years later, at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, as well as eight years later, at the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, he won again the silver medal in water polo. Favor in 1926 the first European Championship in water polo third, 1931, 1934 and 1938 respectively, he was involved in winning the silver medal. A total of 86 countries took part in favor games.

Fritz favor belonged to the SV Wasserfreunde 1898 Hanover, with the water he became friends in 1927, 1936, 1937 and 1938 German Masters.

In 1990 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.
