Fritz Landertinger

Friedrich " Fritz" Landertinger (* February 26, 1914, † 18 January 1943 in Schlüsselburg, Leningrad ) was an Austrian canoeist, who over a distance of 10,000 m won the silver medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, the one-man kayak.

Landertinger was like the Olympic champion Gregor Hradetzky member of the Steiner rowing clubs of 1876. Danube Promenade Two in stone or Krems bear their names.
