Fritz Nachmann

Fritz Nachman ( born August 16, 1929 in Kreuth ) is a former German luger.

His first major success was winning the bronze medal in the doubles at the Luge World Cup in 1955, along with Josef Strillinger. With him, he was then in 1957 and 1958 world champion in doubles. In the 1962 World Cup then he went to together with Max and Leo won the silver medal. A year later he became world champion in single-seaters. In 1967 he was at the European Championships, the silver medal in the single-seat gain. He also won at the 1968 Olympic Games in Grenoble the bronze medal in doubles, together with Wolfgang Winkler.
