Fritz Noll

Fritz Noll (* August 27, 1858, † June 20, 1908 ) was a German botanist and university professor at the University of Bonn.

Life and work

Noll et al studied with Julius Sachs (1832-1897), considered the founder of experimental plant physiology.

Noll's main area of ​​work was the physiology of plants.

Besides his work as a university teacher Noll was in 1894 together with his colleagues in Bonn Eduard Strasburger, Henry Schenck and Andreas Franz Wilhelm Schimper co-founder of the college textbook " Strasburger ".
