Fritz Pott

Fritz Pott ( born April 23 1939) is a former German football player and football coach. He won a defensive player with his club 1 FC Cologne in the years 1962 and 1964, the German championship. His nickname was "the good pot ," similar to the former slogan of a liquor manufacturer.

Sports career

Youth and league until 1963

The defender Fritz Pott was the first FC Cologne from 1958 to 1970 under contract. Like the legendary Hans Schäfer, he came from the Red-White folding rule to FC.
