Fritz Spengler

Friedrich ( "Fritz" ) Spengler ( born September 6, 1908 in Mannheim, † March 10 2003 in Saarbrücken ) was a German field handball player.

Spengler played for SV Waldhof Mannheim, with whom he became German champion in 1933 and 1937, German Vice Champion. At the Olympic Games in 1936 Spengler participated in two games, but the 10:6 victory in the final against Austria, he was not in the team. Overall, he worked from 1934 to 1936 in five countries playing with.

After the Second World War, Fritz Spengler was the coach of the independent Saarland Handball Association, the own team participated in the World Handball Championship in 1952 and 1955.
