Fritz Walter (politician)

Fritz Walter ( born August 30, 1896 in Ohrdruf / Thuringia, † April 1, 1977 in Wanfried ) was a German politician of the FDP.

Life

Walter attended by the general school system, the Agricultural School in Hanover and the forestry school in Templin. After apprenticeship in various establishments and participation in the First World War, he took over in the 1920s, his father's farm " means mill " in Wanfried (Hessen). From 1929 to 1933 Walter was city and county councilor in his home.

From 1924 to 1927, Walter member of the Young German Order. On 1 December 1929 he joined the SA and the NSDAP ( Mitglieds-Nr. 177 064 ) and was thus as age fighters. As a local leader of Wanfried and voluntary local farmers' leader of the circle peasantry Mühlhausen he was transferred on 1 June 1937 by the SA in the SS. From that time until June 1, 1944, he was in the Race and Settlement Main Office, from September 10, 1939 as SS First Lieutenant. He was also a local farmers' leader of Eschwege (1938 ) and Gauredner, Gauunterabteilungsleiter and Gaustellenleiter.

From 1954 until October 10, 1957, he was member of parliament in Hesse. From 1957 to 1969 he was a member of the German Bundestag. Since 1953, Walter was chairman of the local farmers' association Eschwege and since 1954 member of the board of agriculture and forestry chamber in Kassel.
