From the Earth to the Moon is an American mini-series of the pay -TV channel HBO from 1998. It portrays the events of human spaceflight to the U.S. during the Apollo program, NASA.

Action

The series begins with the consideration of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, to reach the moon as the first nation in the world. Thereafter, the first manned space flight of a U.S. astronaut outside the earth's atmosphere, conducted by Alan Shepard during the Mercury program, NASA is shown. It is followed by the presentation of the individual Apollo missions from different angles.
