The Front Range [ ˌ fɹʌnt reɪndʒ ] (Eng. " Front Mountain Range ") is a running in a north-south direction of the mountain chain in the U.S. state of Colorado.

The Front Range forms the eastern Vorgebirgszug of the Rocky Mountains and is separated on the south by the Arkansas River from the Sangre de Cristo Range. The northern boundary is less clearly spelled out and defined in about 20 km from the border with Wyoming, where the Front Range arc passes to the northwest in the Medicine Bow Mountains and to the northeast in the Laramie Mountains. West of the Rockies includes mainly to the Colorado Plateau, while in the east the " Rockies " are the steep slopes that form the continuous transition of the Rocky Mountains to the Great Plains. Within the Front Range are also some smaller mountain ranges such as the Mummy Range as northern Front Range at the transition to the Laramie Mountains and the distant mountain ranges south of Kenosha and Tarryall.

In the Front Range is home to many well-known U.S. reserves, including the Rocky Mountain National Park, the national forests Roosevelt, Arapaho and Pike and the Mount Evans Wildlife Reserve. At the foot of the mountain chain is often also briefly referred to as Front Range Front Range Urban Corridor, has in the nearly settled the entire population of the State of Colorado in the north on the border with Wyoming between Pueblo in the south, Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins. The settlement chain extends even over the border to Cheyenne.
