Frostburg State University

The Frostburg State University is an American University in Frostburg, part of the University System of Maryland.

The college was founded in 1898 under the name State Normal School and was originally used in teacher training. In 1935 she was renamed the Teachers' College at Frostburg, 1945 in Frostburg State Teachers College. Since 1963 it was called Frostburg State College. Since 1987 she is named Frostburg State University. At the University of predominantly educators and business managers are trained. It gives academic bachelor's and master's degrees.
