Fruängen metro station

Fruängen is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Fruängen. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 7,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Fruängen. The station has two above-ground tracks and is 47 meters above sea level, making it the highest station of Tunnelbana. The station is the terminus of the line T14 linjen the Röda. Stockholm Central Station is about 8.5 km.
