Frunzivka

Frunsiwka (Ukrainian Фрунзівка ​​- to 1927 Захарівка / Sachariwka; Russian Фрунзовка / Frunsowka - to 1927 Захарьевка / Sacharjewka, Romanian Zaharievca ) is an urban-type settlement in southern Ukraine. It is the administrative seat of the same name in the Odessa Oblast Raion.

The town was founded in 1791 and renamed as Sacharjewka on November 7, 1927 in honor of the Soviet Civil War military leader Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze in Frunsiwka. In 1963, the place the status of an urban-type settlement.
