Fry (racing team)

The Fry was a Formula 2 racing cars from the year 1959.

The Fry was a single piece, the David Fry built in 1959 for Stuart Lewis -Evans. The Briton should the vehicle driving in the Formula 2 in 1959. Lewis Evans was injured at the Grand Prix of Morocco in 1958 but so hard that after a improper moving to the UK, he died of his burns a few days later.

So Mike Parkes was the replacement. Parkes had helped build the vehicle and drove the race car now at the British race. The single-seater was a strange vehicle with a monocoque center section and a 1.5 -liter Climax engine in the rear. The aggregate was covered by a scoop, which gave the car the shape of an arrowhead.
