Syrena was a Polish car brand.

Company History

The company Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych, short FSO, Warsaw has developed a car model and produced If intermediate 1957 and 1972. Thereafter, the company Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych, FSM briefly took over from Bielsko -Biała production. 1984 ended the production to 521 311 copies. Originally Syrena were planned only as an intermediate type. The name Syrena (Polish for Mermaid ) can be attributed to the Warsaw Mermaid in the Warsaw city arms.
