FSV Budissa Bautzen

The football association (FSV) Budissa Bautzen is a football club based in Bautzen in Saxony. The club had 2001 712 members. He uses the 3000 -seat municipal stadium Müllerwiese. His predecessor BSG Motor Bautzen played for many years in DDR second-rate league.

Club history

Twelve athletes founded on 21 May 1904 the football club Budissa Bautzen. The club colors blue and yellow were borrowed from the coat of arms. The name " Budissa " is a reference to the Wendish- Sorbian name for Bautzen, " Budissin ". Sports development

The SV Budissa was six times champion of Fußballgaus Upper Lusatia 1912-1932.
